You will no doubt be pleased to hear that the Polish MEP who made
misogynist remarks in the EP last week has been heavily sanctioned. EP
President Tajani announced today at the beginning of the votes the
sanctions against MEP Mikke:

 - no daily subsistence allowance for thirty days,

- suspended from parliamentary activities for ten days starting today (with
the exception of voting)

- prohibited from representing Parliament for one year starting today



These are unprecedented sanctions. See the announcement here
